When I began my journey into the world of gifted parenting, I knew pretty much nothing about gifted kids and I sure didn’t know anything about parenting one. I don’t think I would have managed to read all of these 100 books, but I do wish I had known about them.
As it turns out, I have managed to read a number of the books on this list since I first began my journey so many years ago. They are excellent. My son is grown now, but my interest in gifted children is still strong, so I plan to read many more of these books.
Some of the books are about parenting gifted kids. Forget other parenting books. You might was well read a book on raising guppies. They’re about that useful for parents of gifted kids (trust me; I know). The list contains much more than parenting, though, although they will be helpful for parents. These include books on testing, twice-exceptional kids, educating, and homeschooling.
Not all of the books are for parents, though. A number of them are for the gifted kids themselves. These books include books about being gifted, non-fiction books, and fiction books.
You can find a number of the books on this through the Gifts for Learning site.http://giftsforlearning.com/wp/00-books-you-might-want-to-know-about/http://giftsforlearning.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Books-15151531_s.jpghttp://giftsforlearning.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Books-15151531_s-150x150.jpgFor ParentsBooks for Parents of Gifted Children
