Verbally gifted children are fascinated by letters, words, and language in general. But many of them don’t get an opportunity to learn and explore language. The reason is that too few people understand this interest in language. To them it means these children will be happy learning a foreign language or being able to do some creative writing. But that’s not what all these language loving kids are looking for. They want to learn about language itself. If your child is interested in language, he or she can learn more about it – just as linguists do! Sign your child up now for the junior linguists class!
The course will start on February 12 and run until April 21. We’ll be looking at the same topics linguists study: phonology (sounds), morphology (word “parts”), syntax, and more! Read more about this class:
Don’t wait! There are only 15 spots available and some are already filled! When you pay for the course, you’ll be able to download a document that serves as a reminder of the dates for the course. It also provides you with the URL for the course so your child can access it when the course is about to start. (You will also get an email containing the course URL.)
